Funds are given out to individuals and/or families based on stated need and grounded in an ethic of trust in our people and an understanding of the historical and ongoing traumas that make our peoples vulnerable in this pandemic. At this time, this fund is open to anyone who is Black, Indigenous, or a person of color living in the metro Atlanta counties of Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Gwinnett, Henry, Fulton and/or Rockdale. The Review Committee will make funding assessments based on type of need, time sensitivity or threat, and impact of class, race, gender, sexuality, ability, age, and immigration or refugee status.

We aim to disburse funds in a timely manner within our capacity as a mostly volunteer-run collective. If your need is immediate, or you are in danger, please indicate this on your application, and we will do our best to disburse funds as quickly as possible. In the spirit of mutual aid, collective responsibility and paying it forward, we encourage all recipients to contribute to this fund what they can and when they are able.
